It turns out the wide-angle and telephoto cameras can be VERY USEFUL in situations like mine at the edge of a cliff. Enjoy and don’t forget to hit the thumbs up/subscribe if you enjoy the video, thx!
NOTE: Please watch in 1440P or 4K if possible, YouTube rendering is horrible and you may otherwise see artifacts(that I don’t see in my original video).
Also see updated behind-the-scenes video here:
All shots in this video were taken with LG V40 back camera(one of the 3) except the drone shots in the beginning of the video that was taken w/ Mavic 2 Pro.
Note: The wide-angle really helped me get some good shots of the cliff without falling off and also the telephoto really helped in getting shots of the paragliders, seal, and cliffs.
P.S. I should have a behind-the-scenes video also explaining how I shot this video in detail so you can also maximize your smartphone to the fullest.

Today we’re shooting a camera comparison test, iPhone XS vs LG V40! iPhone has three cameras total, the V40 has FIVE, three on the rear, two in the front – an ultra wide angle added on both sides, which is super helpful and fun to have. Is it worth it though? Here’s my camera test, covering photos, 4K60 and 4K30 video, stabilization, audio test, low light, and more! Let me know your votes down in the comments.

It has a total of five different cameras between the front and back, and they let you do some really interesting things that other phones just can’t match.

The old #LG V30 was one of my all-time favorite phones, and now it has been replaced… with the #LGv40 ThinQ, it has a PENTA (5) Camera system! So not only did my favorite ultra wide angle lens return, but LG also gave us a third-rear camera that is a telephoto zoom, very nice! Also sweet, on the front are two more cameras, a standard angle + wide angle, for squeezing everyone into frame for the group selfie shot, or wide landscapes. There’s a LOT of other great features I enjoy on this #V40, like the vibrant, large QHD OLED display, fingerprint scanner, always-on display, tons and tons of customization and powerful camera controls… the list goes on!
Stay Tuned for upcoming camera comparisons:

The five camera phone. LG has been marketing the number of cameras like crazy, but in all honesty, they might be missing the point. The core improvements to photo and video quality are sublime, but they’ll likely be overshadowed by people fixating on fun features which are less refined than the competition.
What happens when we take one of the best platforms for mobile content creation, and staple on a couple extra cameras? About what you would expect. Let’s take a look!
