This video shows how to capture stunning night shots from Nova 3i. I also added extra shots using its Light Painting camera feature.
How to take Super Night Mode shots?
Update your Nova 3i to EMUI 184.108.40.206. Open the Camera App, select More, then chose Night Mode. By default, the Shutter and ISO are set to Auto, which you can adjust to take better photos depending on the light condition of your subject.

The Mate 20 serves up a triple-lens shooter with ultra-wide angle smarts and a telephoto lens, just like the Mate 20 Pro. Those camera specs aren’t quite as impressive here – but the 12MP primary RGB lens, 16MP ultra-wide lens and 8MP telephoto snapper all combine to give you just the kind of shot you want, while Huawei’s Master AI mode can really boost your photos and make them look great. You can shoot up to 4K resolution video on the Mate 20 as well, with solid image stabilisation. As for bonus features, you get the Portrait Mode, excellent Night Mode and plenty more smarts on top.
We’ve tested the Huawei Mate 20’s camera tech over several days and here’s our full review. Let us know what you think in the comments below, and stay tuned for our in-depth thoughts on the rest of the Mate 20!
Views:8599|Rating:4.85|View Time:5:48Minutes|Likes:233|Dislikes:7 We test and compare Huawei’s tri-lens camera on the Mate 20 Pro with the standard Mate 20, to see if there’s any difference in photo and video quality and the features on offer. Is the Pro model, with its better-specced camera, the superior of these Huawei phones?
Although they appear to sport the same snappers, there’s a clear difference once you glance at the specs. Huawei’s Mate 20 Pro model sports a mighty 40MP primary lens, with f/1.8 aperture. The second lens is an ultra-wide-angle effort, this time 20MP, with an f/2.2 aperture. And lastly you have an 8MP telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture and a dash of Optical Image Stabilisation.
The standard Mate 20 sports a slimmed-down 12MP primary lens, again f/1.8. The ultra-wide-angle is a 16MP shooter this time, again with f/2.2 aperture. And the 8MP telephoto lens is back in action, once again f/2.4 and with OIS in play – although you only get a 2x optical zoom compared with the Mate 20 Pro’s 3x optical zoom (and impressive hybrid zoom).
I’ve been testing the Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro cameras side-by-side and here’s my full review so you know how the photo and video results differ. Check out my Mate 20 and Pro comparisons with each other, and the best rivals of 2018, including the OnePlus 6T.
