Alex and Matt found us while researching their reception venue, Toscana Country Club, and we’re so glad they did. We absolutely love working at this slice of paradise in Palm Desert, California. It’s an amazing place in the Palm Springs area for a gorgeous and over-the-top party, and Matt & Alex’s wedding didn’t disappoint. With each of them having more than 30 cousins, they had family flying in from all over, and everyone was ready to celebrate. Matt’s uncle officiated the ceremony, and it was clear just how special this was to them. As if cocktail hour under the palm trees and the stunning tented reception weren’t enough, they surprised everyone with a fireworks show that puts July 4th to shame. Haha Their wedding day was so full of love and energy, and we hope you can feel it too.

Meredith and Tate are so full of life… so full of personality… and the beauty and fun of Charleston, South Carolina was the perfect choice for their classic yet lively destination wedding. Watching this group bowl was hilarious, and listening to story after story at their rehearsal dinner confirmed what giving, caring, and funny people they are, and showed just how obvious their love is to everyone else. The team at Tara Guerard Soiree put together a flawless day, and Simply Irresistible was so amazing they had people stopping on the sidewalk to watch (no joke). We hope you love this short film of their fabulous weekend.

What Mecca is to the Muslems and Rome is to the Catholics, is what Salt Lake City is to the Mormons. It is the capital of the U.S. state of Utah.Four mighty walls surround the 4 hectare area in the middle of the old town, the centre of the Mormon Church, Temple Square. It is decorated with flowers and contains the most important sacred buildings of the Mormon community, such as the Salt Lake Temple, The Tabernacle and Conference Centre. Joseph Smith, Jr. was 15 years old when he had his first vision. The Angel MORONI appeared to him and gave him a number of sacred texts that led to the foundation of the Mormon church. A sacred land was established and a settlement created within the desert. The largest sanctuary and centre of the Mormon faith is the Salt Lake Temple. Constructed of stone, its use is restricted to the Mormon religion. It was built between 1853 and 1893 in grey granite New Gothic style with six towers, its main one being 68 metres high. Construction of the Cathedral of the Madeleine began in 1900 and was completed in 1909, a Christian building whose exterior is of Romantic design and with a Gothic interior. Once both faith and diligence established this remarkable place. Since then, Salt Lake City has become the centre of a hugely successful religious empire.

Silver was initially discovered in the Elkhorn Mountains and over $14 million in silver was carried from the mines in the area. In 1890, the Sherman Silver Purchase Act passed, creating a high demand for Elkhorn’s silver.
During this peak period, Elkhorn boasted 2,500 inhabitants, a school, hotel, church, stores, saloons, and brothels. Unlike most mining towns, Elkhorn was populated mostly by married European immigrants. In 1893 the Fraternity Hall was constructed for social gatherings, and still remains as one of the most well-preserved buildings in modern Elkhorn.
In the years following, the silver boom and Elkhorn’s prosperity began to lessen as the desire for silver decreased. A diphtheria epidemic also struck Elkhorn, resulting in many deaths, particularly of children. Soon after, railroad service to Elkhorn was halted and only a fraction of the original inhabitants remained.
This sequence was shot in the summer of 2001.
