Today I’m sharing some of my favourite phone photos from Iceland! All of these photos were taken on the Huawei Mate 20 Pro and I’m pretty impressed with how those Leica lenses performed. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro camera really is quite impressive!

I’ve started sharing my phone photo of the day on Instagram. Come and follow here:

  1. Sorry this is so late! This old laptop really isn't up to the job, but I'll getting my normal laptop back tomorrow. Woohoo! Thanks for watching and here's my Insta if you want to come follow along with the new photo of the day fun:

  2. As much as we all love our cameras. I have always used my phone to get a few snaps it’s so easy and why not. You two make a few more selfies #keeptheselfie it’s good memories of being in these places together.

  3. Your photos with the Huawei pro are really amazing. I do like the latest one, with you both 😉 (why is the Youtube logo on your hat reversed?).
Just a remark: often you are a blit too close of the Vlog camera, or the lens of this camera is a bit wide. So there is some distorsion on your face and it is not… flattering 😉

  4. Hey Jodie! Thanks for sharing your video and the phone photos you’re getting. You’re doing really well. I especially liked the ice cave shot. As someone who has practiced landscape and scenic photography for years, I’m happy that you are now starting to enjoy landscape photography yourself. Taking photos like these with “just” a phone camera is a great project to help develop your eye. It forces you to see the image first rather than rely on having tons of fancy equipment. So keep doing that every now and then. Remember, a successful photo is one that evokes an emotional response from the viewer, either positive or negative. Having said that, which one of your shots do YOU feel the most responsive to?
    Cheers, S.

  5. I feel you on the backlog of personal photos. I went to USA/Mexico in October 2017 and South Korea in Jan 2018, still haven't gone through the images and footage. Client stuff – that gets done straight away though. Great photos – that house in the middle of Iceland, I loved that shot. Iceland is high up on my photography locations list. Not sure how I'll go with the cold since I'm from Australia.

  6. having great results with viltrox ef to efm speedbooster on m50 know u m50 mostly teles i own but have heard good results on fast like both yours and brendon s vlogs in iceland

  7. Those are some spectacular photos! Your phone does a great job! My favorites have to be the one of the secret waterfall as well as the one with the horse!

  8. Did a great job on the cave photo and that was a cool pic of the two of you, I think I am guilty of not taking enough people photos too.

  9. I really enjoyed the video! You made good use of your cell phone to capture “spur of the moment” photos that turned out to be quite special! I look forward to seeing your further adventures!
