The MagicBox at Leica is prominently located in the company’s inhouse museum in Wetzlar, Germany. The MagicBox is used to display rare objects, such as limited cameras and precious print materials. The video shows, among others, the original sketch book by Oskar Barnack, founder of the first 35 mm camera. Thanks to the MagicBox, this important publication — in other exhibition cabinets limited to a single two-page spread — is fully accessible by gesture control while also being displayed as physical original.
